First we need to know: what is a HACKER?
In real life, a hacker is a person with broad knowledge of computing who uses it to create and modify programs legally.In Liroth, people use this term for players who try to trick others, whether by pretending to be a team member or by inducing them to do something wrong to get ahead, always breaking the rules of the game.
Once you have been robbed (hacked), the Liroth team can hardly do anything, which is why EVERYONE must always keep their RKs (Recovery Keys) written down in a safe place to recover lost accounts.
Here are some tips to avoid being tricked and robbed by other players in Liroth:
1ª) THERE IS NO CASE IN WHICH WE ASK FOR A PLAYER'S ACCOUNT OR PASSWORD.
2ª) Whenever you are given important information, such as events, promotions and so on, you must go DIRECTLY to Liroth's official site to confirm whether news about it was posted; otherwise they are trying to deceive you.
3ª) We do not use personal messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) to ask for account data or to negotiate. If anyone gives you any e-mail or contact other than the ones we list on the site, they are trying to trick you as well.
4ª) The team rarely answers e-mails from players who were robbed, because, as mentioned above, the player must protect themselves BEFORE, not after being tricked or losing their game access data.
5ª) Whenever someone from the team posts something on our social networks or on Discord, check that the profile that posted is genuine, that is, that it really belongs to a team member or community moderator.
6ª) When you buy a house from another player, they will use a command to start a TRADE and the house document will appear in the trade; however, before accepting, you must check that the document contains the house description, otherwise refuse the TRADE because the player is trying to trick you.
7ª) Even though we do not recommend it, if a player wants to buy something from another player's Shop, ask them to send the item, skill or VIP days DIRECTLY from the Shop, otherwise you risk losing what was acquired in the trade.
